  • 1.5 units Purple Onion
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cups Red wine tetra
  • 1/2 tsp Granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/2 cups Broth (meat)
  • 1/2 tbsp Thyme
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1/4 cups Queso parm gratedo
  • 1/2 tbsp Flour (no powder)

    Prepare the ingredients: Melt the butter in a saucepan; Wash, peel and cut the onion pen; broth prepared according to the package instructions.

    Add to the pot the onion cut pen with a little sugar and salt.

    Once the onions are caramelized (transparent are), add flour and mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon for 1 min.

    Add the red wine and mix continuously for 2 mins.

    Add beef broth diluted, thyme and pepper. Cover and cook 30 minutes over low heat.

    Add salt and pepper to taste. Then sprinkle the grated cheese and serve.

    If you prefer to make homemade broth: thrown into a pot with olive oil vegetables you have thoroughly washed and cut into small pieces, small pieces of beef (for example), saute about 5 mins, then add water 1-2 L hot and expected to boil. Strain and use.
