- 1/2 cups Chickpeas
- 1 units Tomato
- 1/4 units Onion
- 1/4 units Zucchini
- 1/4 units Carrot
- 1/4 teeth Garlic
- 1/4 units Red pepper
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 tsp Merkén
- 1 bit Tomato sauce
- 1/2 units Bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper

- 1In a large pot put to cook chickpeas in water with a little salt (4 cups of water per 1 cup chickpeas) and a bay leaf. high heat (approx 1 hour 30 mins)
- 2Meanwhile, in a skillet saute onion strong paprika, garlic, carrots and diced tomatoes. Let cook for 5 minutes
- 3Then pour over the chickpeas. Down to low. Add diced zucchini Italian, merkén and tomato sauce. Simmer until the beans are soft, between 30 to 40 minutes
- 4Finally add the olive oil and season to taste.
